"YOU CARE"
"YOU CARE"
There are many "cares" associated with our healthcare system, including Obamacare and Medicare. Unfortunately, the design of these and other healthcare systems leads to many layers that may have tendencies to place you somewhere far from being the primary focal point.
"YOUCARE" is our challenge to the status quo. We want to shift the focus of care to you, the patient, to get you moving in the right direction.
The way "Youcare" assists in getting you moving is through timely scheduling of visits, user friendly and timely appointment times, rehab care provided exclusively by licensed physical therapists, and a quality rehabilitation environment!
* Every effort is made to offer same day appointments
* Week day and Saturday appointments
* Evaluation and treatments performed by physical therapists
* Large, open space with beautiful views and plenty of natural light
* Private Evaluation rooms

Allowed Activities Following Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery
Steven Marcinkowski, DPT
Over the years, conversations as to the do’s and don’ts of activity return following hip and knee replacements have changed in one very important manner – joint replacement patients want to resume as many activities as possible. The following is a general guideline as to what are the possibilities. The lists are separated into the two general categories of total hip replacement and total knee replacement. Within the general categories are the sub-categories of “Allowed”, “Allowed with experience”, and “Not allowed”. These lists are not all-inclusive for every possible activity and some have morphed from one category to the next as downhill skiing has done following knee replacement. Additionally, individual surgeon preference will supplant the following suggestions.
